Goddamnit, Bay! Ask him already! This is worse than watching a cowardly best friend who's too scared to ask out the girl of his dreams.

Its came too far for Nimoy to NOT voice The Fallen.

Just like if Welker doesn't voice Soundwave, i'll probably riot.

Paying a "pittance" to the VAs is bullcrap to begin with. Peter Cullen's voice is a hefty percentage of what makes these movies any good at all.

Well its nice to see that Nimoy has softened on his alleged coolness from the 86 transformer film..

I just hope that if they get him and Welker.. that weaving, Welker and Nimoy get some Lines I can understand.. Weaving was completely unintelligible in the first movie.. and certainly wasn't recognizable as Weaving..

My grandma could have voiced Megatron and it would have sounded the same. I wish they would have gotten someone with a distinct voice. His delivery was killer but his voice is the most non threatening thing ever

I understood what he said perfectly. Well, there was that part where he was chasing Sam in that church where I couldn't make out what he said. Sounded he yelled a Klingon "Ka-plah!", or however it's spelled. But other than that, he was perfectly understandable.

I agree. Nimoy's voice is very deep and distinctive. He would be a much better Megatron.

The fact that he was in the '86 film is just icing on the cake.

Come on, Nimoy...you can do it!!! Please!!!

Isn't there a ton of paper work that needs to be filled when an actor comes on and a lot of negotiating and contracting between Paramount, Nimoy's agent (and maybe hasbro) to create a contract when signing on someone of Nimoy's position, I mean its hard to believe its only their mother in law that they need to organise this thing through.

Also, since when has money been an issue for a film with a 200 million dollar budget...I'm pretty sure this is in some way connected to the misinformation campaign, and Nimoy is voicing someone, their just both playing games with us.

This whole 'Bay's to embarrassed to ask the guy due to the salary' is really childish for two professionals, and he's not allowed to disclose the films budget anyway...well that's my understanding of it from film school, these sorts of things are usually not meant to be mentioned to the media.

Just watch; Bay will puss out and not ask Nimoy, and we'll get stuck with some overused VA like Patrick Warburton to voice the Fallen...

    Ha ha ha...oh god no.

It'd be nice to get Leonard Nimoy on...though if Michael Bay can only offer a 'pittance' to his voice actors, that's pretty pathetic considering it should be a bigger deal to bring back Peter Cullen and Hugo Weaving for sequels (even if not everyone like's Hugo as the voice) than Shia LaBeouf or Josh Duhamel or any of the other human actor. The voice actors are can make or break these robots just as much as the CGI needed to animate them properly.

I still think (after Welker) Megatron should have voiced by Robert Englund, and that would have gone well in TF2 with Megs new claw hand! :)
