How do you think Nemoy would do for the live action tf film?

I thought he hated TFs? Didn't he regret doing that role and won't even answer questions about it? Or was that Orson Welles?

It wasn't Welles, Welles died before the movie came out.

    Orson Welles hated the movie.
    Leonard Nimoy does too.

I don't get it either. Why try to ignore this movie? Besides, I figured he'd like that people remember him as someone other than Spock.

Its to bad there's no chance of him VAing for Megatron in new movie because he did an excellent Galvatron voice would make a great VA for Megatron aswell. Also was that why they had Frank Welker do Galvatron in Season3 and 4?

from the wikipedia artical on wells:
"weeks before his passing, he had completed recording for what proved to be his final performance, as the voice of the planet-sized robot Unicron for the animated feature, Transformers: The Movie. Welles' opinion of his final role was extremely dismissive and angry, he referred to playing Unicron as a toy in a movie where two groups of toys do awful things to each other."

It's a thing with most actors and actresses who will find themselves resenting the characters they give life to sometimes. After playing Spock it's hard to be taken seriously as anyone else.

My friends did a skit of that for the costume contest at a convention this year. They won first prize in it.

Nimoy did a kick ass Galvatron and he'd make a pretty cool Megatron, but as other's have pointed out he'd never do it.

In all fairness, Orson Welles tended to hate most of the roles he ended up playing later in life. You think he hated Transformers, you should see what he thought of shilling frozen peas. :lol
