Kre-O's have a golden sricker on the box: WORKS WITH LEADING BRANDS. I'm sure Kre-O will work with Lego.

It still doesn't transform which is a peeve for some, and given the number of pieces on that thing, it will run you at the very least $150 for one. I don't think that would be feasable even for LEGO. Hasbro did the smart thing with their KRE-O and made them affordable and are better sets than some people give them credit for.

Lego's robot brand started out as Technic Bionicle. Building robots from Technic and Bionicle gives great results cause they designed many robot specific parts. They are much better than the Kre-o's which use standard Lego style blocks.

Actually it started with sets called Expert Builder in the 70's and the line that made the pieces more about robots first was Throwbots.
But yeah I know it's cheaper with system style pieces and wont happen but Technic conveys robot more appealing at least to me.

more then that easily, technic pieces always costs way more then the regular parts on the lego design creator thing.

the only part i don't like about the Kre-o transformer is that head, It works fine if it was supposed to be Inferno though! :lol
