I went to as much accuracy as possible for robot mode. No way in heck this will ever be transformable.
No problem there. It definitely is the best LEGO versions of movie Prime that I have seen any where. You can tell you put time into getting it right. I want one.
the only thing that would have been better was if you had the pic shopp'd with the pyramids behind it!
I was thinking more along the lines of a dank street alley in the middle of the night, with tons of inexplicable lights coming from off screen.
Don't remember? Of course you don't. I told you in the ebay thread to put this in radicons. By the way, you will never forget who I am again
when doing a project like this, do you glue the bricks together? I wonder cause, when I do legos with my kid they always fall apart. I'd hate to be the one to win this auction and if he were to fall off a table, I'd have a pile of blocks hehe. Shame about those swords too.
Ok, I'm a little late on this, and it's already been said a bunch of times, but.... Holly freakin cow that thing is sweet! I'm sure you'll get quite alot of money for that bad boy.
No, he is made from 100% unmodified Lego parts. He has no glue anywhere, and he IS VERY FRAGILE. He's meant as a display piece, and not a toy. I will be making an instructional video on how to assemble him from the box, and how to handle him.
Is this good enough? PLEASE NOTE: In this photo, Optimus NOT COMPLETE. It's an old photo, but he is at his total height. Also of note: That's my entire Transformers toy collection. As you'll no doubt see, I prefer the aesthetic of live-action tformers over any other. I have 2 Dinobots because I love me some Dinobot. And I have 2 Animated toys just cause they were the slickest in DESIGN (read: I'm not a fan of Blurr or Starscream, I just like their designs)
