After three long years of not building anything, I decided to get back into making Lego Transformers (or Legoformers as many in the community call them). Basically, I thought I'd post my WIP photos here. Obviously these aren't the final colours; I'm just messing around with the engineering, and I'll purchase everything properly when I'm done.

UPDATE #1: Basic skeletal structure of the torso and thighs.

    - Shoulders need to be completely redone. They're too high up.
    - Need to fill in the stomach area
    - Doesn't look like much without the front of the cab

UPDATE #2: THIGH ELABORATION, SHOULDER FIXING & TORSO FILLING

I finally fixed the shoulders, as well as bulked up the torso. I then added double-jointed knees, but the lower legs are unfinished and he still lacks arms.

    - Next time, arms will be built
    - Work on solidity of the truck mode
    - Fill in the cab at the front to hide the robot thighs
    - Work on the back of the truck
    - Figure out the wheel assembly

And I must reiterate, these are NOT the final colours. I will be purchasing the traditional red and blue parts to fully rebuild him once I'm done figuring out the engineering.

UPDATE #3: FEET ASSEMBLY...BEFORE THE LEG ASSEMBLY...TRUST ME IT MAKES SENSE

Some guy insisted that the cab engineering wouldn't work, telling me not to 'make promises I can't keep'. Well HA! I got it to work, at the cost of removing the second knee bend making it only a 90 degree bend instead of a double bend. I also had to tone down the midriff to fit into the truck mode, which is a shame because I prefer the old design.

    - legs will fold into the feet separately, clipping in (they'll be inspired by Galaxy Convoy)
    - bumper in truck mode will be added
    - sides of the truck will be filled

    UPDATE #4: PRELIMINARY LEG DESIGN

As I said, I filled in the sides of the truck cab and finished off the feet. I also added some kneecaps while I was at it. The backs of the legs are just preliminary though. They're only there to figure out the engineering in truck mode, hence why there aren't any pictures of that mode in this update.

    - replace preliminary assembly with fully transformable truck back
    - figure out the arms
