The LEGO Ninjago Movie is set in the same universe as The LEGO Movie and The LEGO Batman Movie, that's why it is a Reboot and re-telling the tale that the original show started out with. I wouldn't put it past LEGO to sneak a cameo in to the Ninjago movie of characters from the other two, one never knows. I feel that this reboot idea makes sense, especially since it seems to skip over the slightly less impressive Elemental Weapons hunt with the Skullkins and goes straight to these characters already have their unique skills and ninjitsu powers.

I'm definitely going to enjoy this one.

I like this. It might be bad, but it seems fun right now. I'm kind of interested in the sets that will come out with this film due to the vehicle designs

Looks pretty good, though having watched the series with my sons the different voice actors was a bit jarring.....

Love the TV series, looking forward to the movie even though it looks to be a reboot.

My only dislike with the trailer is the use of Taylor Swift’s “Bad Blood” song. It just doesn’t feel right for some reason. Anyways, this film looks 10x more interesting than the Lego Batman film IMHO.

    - I love the bride leaving the groom. I guess she doesn’t really love him.
    - Garmadon seems to have an army that is just a bunch of guys in shark suits.
    - What is this? Power Rangers Ninja Robots?!
    - I like the conversation between Lloyd and Garmadon. It’s hilarious.
    - “Secret Ninja Force” sounds weird.
    - That baby’s line. :lolol
    - Butt dialing :lol
    - I like Jay’s comparison. Let’s compare a mom who collects seashells to a father destroying cities. That’s a logical comparison.

Loved the trailer! (Also really excited for the set of Kai's mech!) I haven't been too big into Ninjago, I've watched a few episodes and kept up with the general story beats of each year, but I still haven't gotten around to actually watching the show. As such I wasn't too excited for the movie, but this trailer changed that in an instant! I hope the LEGO movies can keep up this quality (assuming Batman and Ninjago are as good as the trailers imply).

Good trailer. It's going to be very different from the series but it looks really funny.

Oh no... we are all going to die...
    From kitty cuteness! :lol

Also, Garmadon is definitely going to be a fun villain in this.

    The Lego Ninjago Movie

Lego Batman was at 91% & Ninjago at 47%. Goddammit Nappa.

Figured this would not fare well with the critics. The trailers didn't give much for us to care about the characters. And Jackie Chan doesn't seem to fit well in the role he's given. So unlike the first two Lego movies, I'll just wait until it's available on streaming.

Got back from see the movie earlier. Very enjoyable spin off of the Lego Movie universe and cute take on the Ninjago brand which I've marathoned earlier this year. Was pretty surprised on how emotional it got especially with Llyod and Garmadon together.

You mean like in the cartoon show? The trailers mad it seem like Garmadon didn't want anything to do with his teenage son even though he's shown being there when Llyod was a baby, but in the show he loved his son and didn't want to fight him or be evil. Their relationship was kind of like Luke and Vaders in a way.
