If Hasbro's Kreo line turns out as good as your creations then they will be definite buys. Outstanding effort
Yeah.. getting hired by them or having my custom be mass produced currently is like a pipedream to me. They have their valid concerns regarding marketability of LEGO customs done by fans like me. It looks good on display/photos, but averagely playable: some parts tend to fell off easily upon transformation. A small trivia: Did you know I have to press Blurr's lower leg when transforming him or having risk one of the cyan slope to drop off (its only held on by 3 studs). The number of parts involved for its size deter it to be priced to appeal to the mom and dad demographics aka "wow! us$50 for JUST an 8 inch tall figure? ". I think I might have said this before. I shall start a blog soon and post instructions for my LEGO-formers. I think I need to get "funding" to continue my hobby as my LEGO parts are running out quick.
i was going to say stop combining lego and transformers it doesnt work but this is actually really impressive not like that shit that was officialy released
IT'S YOOOOUUU!!!! I've been following your stuff on brickshelf for a long time now! I have always wanted to comment on your style and sheer brilliance of engineering. Your Prime is seriously my fave lego transformer ever. Keep up the good work! I hope that one day i might be able to create something as epic as you.
Thanks for the support. Kinda frustrates you eh seeing my brickshelf gallery remained "stagnant" for months. I assume the Prime you meant is the one with apex armour. Well it had its flaws so I dismantled the trailer/armour many solar cycles ago. I think you'll be pleased when I'm done with my current project of similar proportion.
Yeah I was kinda let down when i hadn't seen any new stuff, but I kind of accepted it as a part of the internet. Several of my fave sites go offline, or people I follow just disappear. It's an awesome and welcome change to rediscover someone though! Especially when they have new stuff to show ^_^ Yeah the Apex Armour Prime was just so cool. I'm thinking that I'll have to go back and examine your style to see if i can incorporate anything into my stuff. That's why I love brickshelf so much, you can find so many great ideas. Really helps me grow as a builder. Think you might post some tips and tricks that you use for your projects? Hmmm...I really need to update my shelf, I have disassembled like half of my stuff, rebuilt others, lol.
So it will be MV now rather than Cineleisure back in 2007? cool. I was told that I able to get my creations displayed in an upcoming TF3 event/exhibition. But gotta iron out the details first.
I'm trying to make up for my lack of productivity the past one year. (severely restricted / lack of workspace cum time). My upcoming blog I shall do a walkthrough on my past projects and show the instruction on how each segment of my LEGO-formers came to being. So its been 2 weeks++ after I rolled out Blurr. Glad to say another one of my project had reach its 80% mark in 2 weeks! Here's sneakpeek below Im lacking many parts in the proper color , and the crucial classic 2-bricks-tall car windshield from pre-2000 LEGO sets . So this ultra magn... eer white cab of mine (if you look closely) have a place-holder bricks on its front (while I'm planning my "grocery list" on what parts to order in bricklink.com)
