Who else picked this up? I love it. Frustrating at times but very fun. sadly you can only use about 6 shots per hand gun. Achievements galore with this game. Some of the names of them are hilarious! Got one called "Think I just stepped on a fortune cookie..." For killing so many spiders. :lol  For those of you who don't get it, it was a line Willie spoke in Temple when she stepped on a bunch of bugs.

Willie's power is kinda funny. She screams really loud and shatters glass.

Although I'm kinda stuck at the moment. At the big bald guy from Raiders.

Is the 6th level of ROTLA screwy for anyone, color wise. Have DS. Sometimes it won't go back to the school lobby after exiting from minigames too. It will lock up. Love it though, wish it was longer.

It was actually Shortround that said the line. Willie was too busy screaming when she saw the bugs. :D

Picked it up today for the PS3 and played it with my wife.

Loving it so far. Just wish the ledges weren't so easy to fall off of. It didn't seem that way for Star Wars.

    my mistake..

Anyway there are phobias in the game. Indy will freeze up with fear near snakes and Willie bugs, etc.

Heheh, I wasn't chastising you with a 12 inch ruler or anything, just pointing it out. I plan on getting this game Friday, without hesitation.

How's the music by the way?

If you played the SW Lego, it is like that.

Also there are supposedly 5 hidden SW charachters in the game. I found 3 so far. Found C3PO, Hoth Luke, and Chewie (in the SW cantina!). Also some little SW nods like the idol from Raiders. Indy tries to offer Belloc a Head of C3PO.

Very fun stuff. I was kinda sad there was no flying the plane as a part of a mission in Crusade. But that was in the cut scene.

Like I said the Achievments are all Indy references like "He no nuts, he crazy!" for destroying stuff, or "That's for blasphemy" if you use Jones Sr. To destroy Indy.

The game doesn't follow the movies exactly. But it's fun that way for me since it just means more new places to explore as far as events leading up to the end.

Are there any significant gaming differences between the PS2 and PS3 versions? (extra levels, characters, etc)

Given a choice between Lego Star Wars and Lego Indiana Jones, assuming you like both franchises fairly equally, is one preferable to the other? My kids want one of these. I lean toward the SW Complete Saga since it seems like it has gotten better reviews and I assume is longer (six movies vs. three, right?). What do you guys think?

I don't prefer one over the other. You simply can't go wrong with either title. And you can even consider the Batman one which will be released in September.

With the countless hours of fun I had/have with lego star wars 2 for psp, I'm definitely getting this game, plus the batman one in Sept. I think if your kids are more familiar with SW than Indy, then definitely go with that, but like Ron said, you can't go wrong with either.

And with that said, what do you guys think would make a good NEXT Lego?

    I would say:

    Lord of the Rings
    Harry Potthead
Transformers G1 (Imagine how cute they would look).
Justice League (This one could be Really Fun)

i'm tempted to get this... but the star wars game didn't really provide enough of a challenge to keep me interested really.
