Now, I am not going to post the pics up in this message, because I want to give the technical details of the progress so far, of the build. As of this writing, truck mode is done, other than needing painting on the window, to make the red separation bar. The Trailer is just a hold over, until I build the real transformable one, which I need more hinges to make. RObot mode has fully ariculated shoulders, and elbows, that can move up and down, each respectively. I plan to add side to side movement for the elbows somehow. THe legs can do a "walking motion" but it is really a pathetic sight. THe head is from ENergon TRU exclusive Optimus Prime, so it SHOULD be able to fit, if I can figure out a way to mount it. That's the BIG problem. Anyways, on with the pics, in the next few posts. First, I'll start with Truck mode.
AFTER A LOT OF PROBLEMS, here is Truck mode. Front view Bot mode pics next. I had one more of the trailer, but I can't use it, because of the quality.
That is to give an idea of how it "might look." The legs are going to go through a drastic makeover, along with the waist. ANy comments, crits, anything is welcome.
I think the legs should maybe be twice as long as in that picture. Otherwise he's coming along nicely.
I know, I ran out of blue parts, "sad eh" Yeah, if ANYONE knows, where to direct buy specific Legos, it would be greatly appreciated. "Thanks for reminding me. I need to aquire some more joints, blue parts, and see about maybe finding SOMETHING to mount fully that head, so I would not have to glue it.
I made a lego Prime once. He didnt' transform though. I'll have to see if I can find pics of him somewhere on my hard drive.
PROGRESS NOTES: Added unused God Genrai Autobot Logo to Left Shoulder. Lengthened the legs DRASTICALLY. PROBLEM. Thanks to stupidity on my parents part, and yes they did cause this, I am now minus the head. Does ANYBODY have any ideas for a good Prime head?
