hehehe, well I can definitely think of a few times where they have, but I love Tomb Raider 1 and 2 and the 360 one. I loved the Original Gex, and if I'm not mistaken (and I might be) but they originally published Legacy of Kain (still one of my favorite PS1 games). So they have their bad apples, but this Batman looks like someone cares about it. Furthermore, it doesn't tie to any movie, so they aren't in a rush to get it out the door.
Just checked my GameQ @ GameFly and LEGO Batman shipped yesterday...so with any luck I'll have it to play on my day off later this week!

My wife and I played it after dinner for about four hours. Best LEGO game thus far. But that also carries a lot of bias.
So, does the game have co-op play in it, or did you have to switch off? Cause, since it has Batman AND Robin, I don't see why it wouldn't include co-op. That was one of the big selling points of Lego SW.
was checkin out IGN's review and yes its got Offline co-op. but not online least thats what they say kinda sucky but ah well
I tried that any I wasn't able to even take off one heart...I just kept getting turned into a block of ice! Are you sure there isn't any kind of gimmick to fighting him?
I'm not sure if this would be a gimmick but what I found that what works is when he starts firing his ice gun swap to the other character and attack him from behind. When he fires again, the character that was frozen will have already died and respawned so you can swap to him the next time he fires. Repeat until he's defeated.
Played through and beat all Story modes for Hero and Villain on the PS2 version. Mostly did that to unlock all the main characters for Free Play when I go over to play with a friend next week. Lots of fun. "Tropical" Joker is a fun guy to unlock for those of you Killing Joke fans. I also made a "Vampire" Batman, though that is just old school blue/grey Batman with Man-Bat's head (so you can see he had fangs underneath the cowl).
im pretty sad there's no online co-op would love to play with some of you guys but its a fun game! i gave it a rent [cuz i cant afford to buy it just yet] but im likin it batman meets the fun of a lego game cant go wrong with that
