Just picked up the latest sets from TRU today and I'm STOKED. I have them all except for the collector's edition Batmobile which I have no interest in since it doesn't come with the Rogue's Gallery LEGO men.

But dammit, why does plastic bricks cost so much? The four sets set me back $123! I must say it's worth it though. Why? BECAUSE ONE OF THEM HAS HARLEY QUINN!

legos has always been pricey, even way back in the 90's i remember them being that expensive.

if i remember correctly from a special that they had on tv a while back, they said, that they have to inspect each piece by hand now or something like that, lol also, plastic is made out of oil isn't it? thus, the rising oil prices, will increase the cost of plastic bricks :)

Photos? What are the new sets? The Lego site doesn't seem to have them up.

You are a MADMAN!! Seriously, I thought my Minimate addiction was out of hand, but damn. Legos are ridiculously overpriced, BUT, supply and demand.

Lego's prices are going up. The most specific example I can think of right now is how Phantoka Bionicle line is currently priced at $9.99, but due to shipping increases and what not, when the summer line hits, the older sets will also bump up to the new $12.99 price point (Amazon has already done this).

FTBT.net has Youtube videos that show all the cool features of all the new Batman and other 2008 sets.

I can't WAIT for the game to come out. Hopefully there won't be new sets anytime soon after these four. My wallet needs to recuperate.

I was gonna say that they're coming out with a lego batman game. The SW ones were incredible so I have full confidence this will be too.

Damn, I wish my 3-year-old son were old enough to play with these (he's only at the Duplo level) 'cause I can't justify buying them for myself.

Holy crap, that Tumbler is gorgeous. I'll have to add that to the Lego Batman collection I started in '06. The Harley set is a must-have, too. I've been waiting for a minifig Harley ever since I got the Arkham Asylum kit and minifig Poison Ivy.
