I'm on a Chug/Legends 1984+ kick this year. I wasn't really happy with the recent CW Legends Huffer remolded from Prime. His shoulders, chest, and overall silhouette weren't right.

I used tinkercad to 3d sketch some new shoulders and a windvane for him.

I might print a blue piece to fill in the chest there. I'm tempted to redo the forearms as well, as they are currently reversed. Either print fillers for the arms, and sacrifice the proper elbow bend direction, or redesign, or snip and clip the arms to let them bend. I think for now I'll simply swap the left and right arms when transforming him, I'm happy with where he is now.

This looks amazing. Can you make this available for the rest of us somehow? Do you take commissions?

No kidding. If the original looked anything close to this, I'd have bought it!
    Great work on this!

Looks great. I've had this on my plan for a long time but not gotten to it yet. Pretty much the same idea as you.
So, nice to see it realized. Great job.
Did you paint orange or print in orange material?

You need to upload this kit to Shapeways.

    Thanks all.

I've uploaded the files to both Thingiverse and Shapeways. The shoulders are a tad loose at the body/shoulder joint. I'd try and get it better, but really I'm happy with him as is. If you find it too loose, you can throw some tacky putty in the socket before putting it on him.

I tried to put in links to shapeways and thingiverse, but they were blocked as spam.

Ah, I need three posts to add links to my posts to prevent spam. Well, that's an inelegant solution, but I suppose it works.

wow, not three posts, but 10 posts. Well, find my reddit profile, and I'll update it to the /r/transformers post I made a while back.

    Sure thing, it is done.

I have no idea how well these will work, as I printed the STLs in PLA on a CR-10. Should be marked as a First Try when you order them. I think I have a few bucks in paypal, so I'll give it a try to see how it comes out.

Thanks. I've placed an order for the arms (metallic plastic) and the wind vane (blue) for Pipes. I'll let you know how they work out. Right now they are estimated to ship on March 9th for delivery sometime before March 14th.

Shapeways says "Unfortunately, we are unable to manufacture Huffer Pipes (final but loose)" :(

    I see.

I've edited the model and placed an order for myself. I haven't tested the model change yet though, so I may make it unavailable for sale until I receive it.

Sorry for the inconvenience. Maybe I should print up a dozen or so myself ... (then I think of having to mail things out and get all anxious, bah.)

Will update when I have an update.
