This is something I started a while back after the paint on the Sunstorm I was wantign to spray black then do a few touch ups and make Skywarp, went bad.

He is still in the early stages and hopefully I will keep working on him.

Wow. I never figured that mold for a scourge but with a modified head it looks like it would realy for. Can't wait to see more.

Obviously, this is a zombie thread I didn't want to make a new one if it was still here.

I dug this guy out recenlty after I moved and got some Model Masters.

still have a ways to go but mixed up this color and was testing it out.

Does any one know how to mix a color and get it to stay workable for more than a few days?

I am putting them in airtight containers inside a tupperware with my other MM paints.

And, ironically I just realized he is made from a seeker corpse.

I lol'ed at him being made from a Seeker corpse!

This is a really cool one, man :thumb

As for keeping acrylic paint, you can use small, airtight containers. It won't last forever, but I still have some paint I mixed years ago that's still usable. You can also clean out paint bottles that you use and give those a second life :)

    use plastic bottle tops(cork??)
u can mix the color in there in small amounts ,take a piece od celotape(any adhesive tape will do te trick) drop 3-4 drops of water to make an airtight surface and close it :)

I have a question I was thinking about skipping the pink fingernails does anyone think they are necessary for him?

I am not going for 100% G1 obviously, I think they would look kind of goofy.

It may not be practical to do that, given how small the hands already are.

Good to see you are continuing on this project.

No, I have added the back booster, made the 3 pointy things on him. Will get pics up later.

This trying to finish stuff is nice.

Updated, I tried using a Spycahngers Prowl head as a base for his face, but that plastic it's made out of won't glue to the styrene with my weld, stupid hard plastic.

I think I will just have to make it out of thin styrene to get what I want, mount it on something then glue it into the box.

I put a vent on the back G1 toy style, I am trying ot stay somewhat G1 but still try to stay to the style of the toy, I put the random panel under the vent sice there are little panels here and there all over.

Also it's a happy accident but the way the "engines" are ont he sides in sweep mode make him have short arm cannons/missiles kind of still seekerish.
