Thanks to Sol who gave me the idea of making a comic book impression of my collection, so, here it is...

Comic #1 : Rise Of Safeguard (fieedzatron's Version  )


Jetfire: Hey there Brother! Nice to meet ya again, Brother, Shall we practice our circus act again??!

Jetstorm: for the name of All Spark...Not again!!!

Animated Jazz is a very cool toy.

Seeing him in the package doesn't do him justice. You have to open him up.

Here's my first pictorial review of:

Movie Voyager class G1 repaint Starscream


In his G1 glory...Sweet alt mode I shall say. Nicely detailed. With Red,white and blue painted on him. I have no complains on his alt mode. Well done on this repaint Hasbro  


The black decepticon logo clearly recognizes him as a true decepticon warrior.
The logo is modified with "wings" on each side. Maybe this is a logo for decepticons seekers team. Just like the elite guard autobot logo.


A closer look at the back panel...


A detailed mould of the cockpit, with a driver seat. I prefer that the driver seat is painted maybe black and the control panel of the plane is painted with some colours. But it's just a minor issue. Maybe I can practice my painting skills and try myself!  


comparison with tfu Starscream. The colours nearly matched! Even the red stripes on each others wings is similar! the difference are, tfu SS has no coloured cockpit tip and it's white paint is much brighter than the voyager's. Th voyager's white looks more to cream or biege in colour.

I discovered a new alt mode for him, just like incinerator's blade.... 



For transformation:


pull the missile launchers. for both sides


Detach the cockpit, and fold up.


Like this....


Detach the pegs at the side of the wings.


Push it up, and the chest plate will expand. A cool transformation process I shld say!


at the underside, extend it's legs.


Unfold his feet.


Open the panels ans its knee caps.


Swivel it down. and close the panels.


Lastly, split the pair of legs. And you're done!


The decepticon warrior...Starscream! Ready to strike and destroy any autobots that tries to stand in his way....Should I say, the betrayer of Megatron?

As a conclusion, I would reccomend this figure if you are looking for some repaints to spend on. He maybe rare now, butif you have an opportunity to buy a loose one, then grab it! It is quite huge also.

My ratings: 4/5 (-0.5 limited articulation and -0.5 because the head can be seen in alt mode, unless you turn it around, but still, you can see his head in alt mode.)

2nd review of :
Movie Deluxe class Barricade with Frenzy


His cool police car alt mode. A smart alt mode i should say! so that he can use his disguise as trust to the public...Unless the public knows that he bears a decepticon logo and tell the Autobots!  


Maybe blur..but there his "decepticon cops logo"


A nice detailed silver paint use to write the word "police" Simple yet a cool detailing.

"643" at the top of the vehicle. And a red-blue acrylic plastic for the lightings
If you watch a review from Sean Long at youtube, he modified his barricade that has real lights attched to it. The light blinks just like a police car. Plain awesome...


At the top back, it has another word "police" painted. To "re-assure" that he is police car  


With my torchlight, u can see the unpainted but moulded word" Saleen" at the back bumper which I find cool. It's like a brand of this police car.


He comes with Frenzy. If you were to open his bumber, Frenzy is seen "transformed" to fit in barricade's bumper, and later became his chest.


Here's Frenzy. I wish he has unattached feet for more poseability, but his feet seems to attach together...But overall his okay. His hands moves font and back only.

So to transform him,

Split his sides, turn and it. This will reveal his arms.


Bring the back part forward and attached it to the pegs shown.


Straighten his legs.


Split his hood.


Bring his windshield down....


And push his head up, and there you have it!


There is barricade! look at his metallic paint on his legs and abdomen area. Looks great on him. I don't not getting the premium version as this is already what I expect fro a transformer toy!  


With Frenzy

My conclusion:
I give a 4.5/5 for this toy.-0.5 or his lack of poseability. But everything looks cool and this is what I expect for every toy done by Hasbro. It's like owning a "mini" alternators!

Another review of:
Universe 2.0 Deluxe Starscream


His alt mode. F-15 Jet fighter. The leader of ALL Seekers. In his accurate G1 colours, Red, White and blue. I wish Henkei made this version of Starscream instead of the classics one. This one looks way much better than the other one.Overall, his alt mode is sleek and suits him too. Another factor is, if he is a voyager, that we be cool and I think if he is a voyager, I bet, more detailing would be applied to him as the size is capable to make many paint applications and detailing.


His purple decepticon logo. I wish it painted the other way round, as i could see him upsie down.

To transform him:


remove his missiles.


Detach and flip its wings


Extend the legs out.


Spin it's side wings and at the same time, flip down his feet.


On the under side, lift his chest from the cockpit.


Detach his back cockpit


Fold the tip of the plane. And his head will be seen.


spin as shown. and fold the cockpit onto the chest area.


Flick his fist. (I wish his fist joint is tight.It seems loose and tend to move around when posed)


And you're done! Here it is, Starscream in his robot mode.

Conclusion: I think that this toy is a great figure. An accurate representation of his G1 look. I would rather recommend this rather than the classics version.
Like I say, I really wish if this version is used and reissued by Henkei. I hink that'll be awesome.
A 4.5/5 figure (-0.5 for the joints flaw and more detail painting can be done.)
