A legend in his own right. Rest in peace, sir.
Journalist Walter Cronkite dies at 92 - USATODAY.com
He lived longer than real journalism did. RiP.

this man was a true great! RIP
It just doesn't end. RIP Walt.
Sad to hear but at least he lived a full life and didn't die foolishly or surprisingly.
he will be missed
Last of the honest journalists. He was one who would report the story, not let personal politics dictate the story.
He cried when Kennedy died.
He broke down (happily) when we set foot on the moon.
he was human, but aside from those moments, he was a consumate journalist.
Nobody on now has the talent to spit polish his shoes, much, much, and very much less fill them.
he died on my dad's birthday. that blows.
oh wow, RIP Walter
I thought he died five years ago. Huh.
rest in peace Mr. Cronkite
