I'm looking forward to the game but good Lord is it coming out at a bad time. Skyrim is 11/11, Halo 11/15, Ass Creed 11/15. I wish these things were paced a little better this year.

Yeah, for me it's Skyrim and Uncharted, so I might have room for it. Besides, it's Zelda. Almost ranks up there with Skyrim. If it wasn't gimmick based, it would be above Skyrim for me.

I need to move the Wii from my kid's room to the living room. I hope it still works.

Skyrim doesn't have the history Zelda does, but the truth for me is that the last Elder Scrolls outclassed the Last console Zelda in immeasurable ways. By the time Twilight Princess was over, I was kinda glad to be done with it and hoped the next Zelda will impress me more, and Skyward LOOKS like it will, as long as I can warm up to the motion controls. Oblivion had me playing for hundreds of hours and if they made an expansion even today I would be happy jumping back in. So I just can't deny that Skyrim currently has priority even though I will be getting both. Halo will be something I play when I'm not playing alone, so that's not really something that will interfere. Assassin's Creed is great but I can put that off easier because I've played new ones every year for the past couple of years.

Yeah. I still play Oblivion. Bored... pick a direction and go... Skyrim and Uncharted are my top games this year, and they are coming a week from eachother. This new Skyward trailer really made me care about this game again.

Oblivion does have a linear story if you want to follow it. The nice thing about both Oblivion and Fallout 3 is that if you aren't following the story and doing random stuff, you know you're at least getting experience and upgrading yourself to a degree. Nothing is really a waste. With Twilight Princess, I couldn't believe how many side paths and secrets lead to... more rupees I didn't need. On the other hand, Ocarina of Time, having just played it recently, felt far more rewarding when exploring out of the main path. It always lead to a heart piece or a skultula which could lead to something else. There was very little wasted space in Ocarina and I appreciated that.

I'm definitely getting this game. It's a contender for GotY IMO.

Hoping it turns out awesome. Good thing Uncharted is three weeks away from it, but it sucks that Rayman Origins is so close, going to have to skip that until I finish Zelda.

Ive actually been giving this game serious thought lately. I might even get the Wii remote bundle $70. Also I guess the first run of the game comes with a CD of the Zelda concerts. Awesome.

And Skyrim is at "lol, no" status for me until I see it for less than $50 for the PC version. Not paying $60 for PC games. (Common Steam Sale). Uncharted I will pick up when I have vacation time. None of the other fall/winter releases interest me at all. I think Dark Souls is pretty much going to degrade any game I touch after October.

I think I'm getting the one with the remote. I don't have a Plus, so this will have to be my time to get it.

A gold remote with the crest on it? Count me in ;)  not gonna lie though, my most anticipated wii game is Kirkby.. Zelda will be awesome and I like the inclusion of the upgrade system.. But kirby looks like tons more fun =D this might change after I play skyward sword on Friday though =p

Skyrim and Skyward Sword are going to take up my entire winter and I can't be happier about it. I love that they brought back the upgrade system, I hope it's as good as LttP's.:thumbs2:
Do yourself a favor and play Morrowind. PC if you can because you can get the HD user mods for it, but if not, get the GotY Edition for the Xbox (I actually just found a really good used version of just that for $17 and it rocks), it's 360 compatible. Oblivion was fun, but Morrowind was better overall.

Been playing the Elder Scrolls series since Arena. Played Morrowind on PC and Xbox. Loved them both. I agree that Morrowind was a better world that Cyrindil.
