quick question for anyone here that may be more knowledgeable of the law than me:-

Is blackmale a crime if you don't demand money but only demand that somebody does the right thing?

Case in point: An individual is soon to be ordained a priest but has previously comitted acts of paedaphilia. Would a person risk any form of prosicution if they sent this person a letter saying "If you continue in your persuit of becoming a priest I will see to it that your past is revealed to everybody at your ordination."

Anyway - could you get in trouble for making such a threat?

 

You're more likely to get in trouble from anti-racism groups for referring to it as "blackmale."  

 

last time i checked it was not a crime to be a black male.

I do believe that black MAIL is a crime..

 

Extortion is the legal term.

Also "Pedophelia" Is how it's spelled.

You'd best be damn well sure before going public about something like that as if it's untrue it's slander which is also a crime.

Thats one of those things. like said above, that you better have some damn good proof of. But yes, it is a crime. If your that concerned about it and you have proof then send the evidence to the proper channels with out warning him. Then its not extortion.

Why are you only gonna give out the information if he continues to be a priest? Has he already been charged with these crimes and everyone forgot about it or what?

Seriously though, Blackmail/Extortion is a crime...I would do as previously suggested and ONLY if you have ALL the PROOF, dotted the I's and crossed the T's would I turn that over to the authorities. If he's a pedophile he has no business becoming a priest and should be in jail...no warning is needed or deserved.

Why not just talk to him face to face and threaten to tell people about it? If that happens, then there isn't any letter evidence of blackmail. But if you do say anything, make sure you have some pretty irrefutable evidence about it.

 

I need some suggestions on dealing with a black male as well, i'm out of giant wooden crosses and my sheets are in the wash.
