Movies.com SUPPOSEDLY has a picture of Heath Ledger as "The Joker" in the upcoming batman flick, "The Dark Knight" during shooting in Chicago.....

Also, Toby McGuire has been reportedly offered $20 million to star in Spiderman 4.....

 

I still wish it was Crispin Glover.

 

Ledger IS the Joker. There's no mystery behind it.

And I think he'll do an alright job. I was a bit more suprirsed when I heard Topher Grace was Venom, but even that might turn out pretty good (although I still think he's not bulky enough).

 

That pic, although fuzzy, seems like Heath isn't a bad casting call after all. But again, I wish it was Crispin Glover.

 

Glover shoulda been Scarecrow, but he would make a good Joker as well.

 

I thought Cillian Murphy made a GREAT Jonathan Crane.

 

WOW... man, that picture was on the 'net with the news that he was cast last year. I was pretty turned off after reading the article, until I saw that photo, and then I thought "hm, well damn he might be good for it afterall" It the job is anywhere nearly as top-notch as the first movie, we shouldnt' have anything to worry about of course.

 

Looks more like Christopher Walken to me.

Agreed, I like the look. Makes him seem a little bit crazier vs a dude with bad lipstick.

Liked the Nip/Tuck reference Jux. Hopefully they do not pooch the storyline like I feel Nip/Tuck did (all build-up and no finish).

I don't understand why they need to disfigure Joker. I hated that part of Nicholson's Joker and to be honest, Ledger looks more like the Crow or Ichi the Killer. If the actor can't pull off Joker with his eyes and his smile then he shouldn't have the part.

 

Looks like the Crow to me. And not in a good way.
