I've been noticing some strange behaviour with my custom cliffjumper. He has 4 white LEDs in his chest, and one blue one in his eyes.

The 4 white LEDs are all wired through one 100ohm resistor, the blue one is on its own resistor (I think its a 50 ohm).

Power is supplied from a 3v battery pack, there are 5 other figures running of this pack with no issues.

I turn the LEDs on but every now and then the 4 chest LEDs will flash intermittently/drop in brighness or go out altogether. The head LED always remains constant and has no problems.

I removed all the wiring and resistors and redid it all, the problem is still there.

There are no shorts or dodgy connections anywhere. The only thing I can think of is a dodgy LED in the chest, I will replace them tomorrow but I'm curious to know exactly whats happening here.

    Any ideas??

If one of the LEDs in the chain are faulty, all of the LEDs will exhibit the same problem. The whole "chain is only as strong as its weakest link" thing.
