Yes and...well yes. They quit after the drummer died in 1980. The new drummer is the son of the original drummer. Your thinkin of Skynard.

    Ahhhh...nevermind.

    Wouldn't have been constructive...

Since I can't delete, it seems weird to me that Bonham's basically got a job impersonating his father. I wouldn't want to do that.

Well, maybe I would, but my dad was a cop, but still...

I have the same questions about Dweezil Zappa touring in a tribute band to his dad...

And yet, he's doing it willingly. I suppose the money's good. But still...

    Oh, wait, you're being sarcastic.

I dunno, to be defined solely by what your father did? It'd get on my nerves something fierce.

Nothing wrong with being proud of your dad enough to pay tribute to him. Plus, he's doing it for the sake of millions of fans that wanna see this band live again. It's something to be respected if you ask me.

Led Zeppelin is one of my all time favorite bands. I only wish I had tickets to their performance, but from interviews they have done recently, if this one show works out well, and why wouldn't it, they would consider doing other shows, or, dare I say it, a tour!
