Bayverse but Beast Machines and Energon are a close second.

 

I haven't seen Energon (or any of the "anime" TF shows besides RiD, for that matter), but from the sounds of things I'm glad I haven't.

From what I've seen, G1 is my least favorite. The animation/editing errors are hard to look past, and it's a LOT more heavy on selling product than the other shows. I've enjoyed watching it though.

 

I haven't seen much of the Japanese stuff but I didn't like what I watched of BWII. Maybe another Japanese series would be worse but I don't want to have to read the entire Japanese G1 series.

I don't get the hate for Energon. Maybe I should rewatch it. Apart from a few animation flaws, I didn't see much problems with it.

Unless that was sarcasm, you seem to have gotten the point of this thread wrong. It is about your least favorite Transformers series.

 

No, the bad dub is just the final nail in the show's coffin.

Energon starts off with seven okay-ish episodes, but then the plot takes a nosedive. The show runs out of plot after about 13 episodes, then essentially repeats the same plot again, then runs out of plot again and ultimately crams in another plot that comes out of nowhere. Characters get de-evolved because the writers couldn't think of anything to do with them following their character development, so they use "brainwashing" to make them mindless minions again.

The animation is lifeless, facial expressions have a range of one emotion, and there's the sheer idiocy of "cars driving in space" just to showcase the toys' alternate modes.

This should give you a few hints.

I didn't vote because besides G1 and Prime, I haven't watched any of them.

Energon, definitely Energon. If it was the whole Unicon trilogy, I would've pick that as well. Just Energon sucked harder than the others.

 

Sill can't stand Beast Machines, and I even bought the DVD set to give it a fair chance. One viewing was enough. oh, and even worse, the Animorphs since they were sold under the Transformers name.

 

Energon is by far the worst TF show of all time. It is sooo bad.

Armada and Cybertron are actually watchable.

Energon no contest. That show is aggressively painful.

 

I voted Beast Wars.

I never liked the idea of robots transforming into organic, realistic looking animals. Robotic looking ones are hard enough to believe as it is, except for some ie. The Dinobots.

 

This makes no sense. How is becoming an animal more unbelievable than a car when they're robots? If anything it makes more sense. Animals retain mobility and dexterity while also being more of a disguise. And why are the Dinobots allowed but noone else? If anything the Dinobots are the worst examples. Unrealistic alt modes that don't offer much in the way of added agility.

Also voting for BW while Energon is up there is just nonsense. In fact, 60% of that poll is outrageous considering Energon is up there. The only way I can figure someone not picking it is simply because they haven't seen it. And I want to be them so bad.
