Just transformed my leader ss into jet-mode for the first time and I dont think that I am getting mine to fit completely. The top panel that snaps into the arms-section doesn't quite go down all the way. The part im talking about controls the actual fins (or whatever their called) no the wings. It goes down and covers what used to be the arms. It seems 'elevated' to me. Is it supposed to be like this or did I do something wrong?

Mine is elevated too about a millimeter or 2. Not much of a big deal. I don't think it can go completely flush.

Well just to clarify what I'm getting, here are some pics.

I only ask because I know that before you snap the whole unit into place where it goes into the (used to be) arms, it can indeed go down all the way, its the necessity to snap into the arms that elevates it.

Yeah, that happens to mine too. Must just be a design flaw. I wouldn't worry too much about it.

Yep same on mine. A little annoying but doesn't really take away from that killer jet mode IMO.

Same here but it doesn't bother me. Usually stuff like that does bother me but this time, it doesn't.

It also looks like your tail fins are pushed too far down, maybe try lining up the base of them with the body and it'll push in. As far as the actual piece sticking up, I just push the front of that piece in all the way first and then pivot the rear part in and it works.

This ^! Just line up the hinged part that the rudder (verticle wings) are attached to as described above. the hinge part I think is the problem you guys are having.

Not that this flaw is a big deal by far, but reading this thread cracks me up because for weeks now everyone who's gotten this figure has done nothing but shoot their hot, steamy jiz all over this figure in delight (BEST FIGURE EVER!!!) and not ONE person has mentioned this... until now. Now everyone's all so casual, like "oh yeah, mine does that too..."

    :lol

Probably because it really isn't a big deal.

    Don't be a troll.

I have the same issue with mine, but it really doesn't bother me. A fantastic figure over all.

Well that worked somewhat, but i guess its just meant to be that way. kind of disappointing. I'll add that to flaws on SS

    - no wrist swivel
    - awkward fingers (either add another joint, or don't make them as long)
    - voice is retarded
    - doesn't "fit" completely together near the top in jet-mode.

    Oh wellz..its still awesome.

Masterpiece Optimus Prime has feet in truck mode.

And yet he can't even roll, there's so much of your "jiz" on him.

Turns out that engineering limitations effect every single Transformers toy. Sometimes subtle things help with subtle problems, like here. In any case, nobody bought this bad boy for jet mode.

Yep, mine's the same, but it's no biggie at all.

Those are part of the design; they're deliberately that way.
