I've been getting back into collecting transformers again recently, and with a new optimus coming out, I was curious; Should I get the first release Movie Optimus, or wait for the Buster Optimus to come out?

I alrdy have ROTF Leader Prime, but I also plan on getting Buster Prime. Buster Prime is basically similar to ROTF Leader Prime besides the movie accurate weap, paintjob, and no faceplate.

I have the original movie one, but do plan on getting Buster Prime.

What ghowildseven said is the only difference.

If you want one, get Buster.

Wish I could afford Buster Prime, but my expensive toy of the season goes to Morpher Knight.

I have a sealed ROTF Leader Prime (kept it sealed in anticipation of a premium repaint), but now I may just open him and keep Buster Prime sealed since I wouldn't dare risk damaging the paint job.

What a waste. The appeal of Buster Prime is obviously his new cannons that are his gas tanks that can detach and combine. =/ I could never keep it sealed. In fact, that's the whole reason I want it, is those cannons.

If money doesn't matter, I would go with Buster. The paint apps look better (atleast in the pics), and the blaster is a nice touch. I don't think you can go wrong though, I am really happy with the US release. Here's to hoping we get a similar version over here, so I have to buy him and then another Jetfire to have a combined set in the display, as well as singles of each. Damn you Hasbro.

I like the original better....but the Buster mold sure is pretty, I admit. It's a cool toy either way so you can't go wrong with either.

Yeah, but seeing the official pics, that thing is such a beauty. I really wouldn't want to take the risk of making it any less beautiful, especially since it is pretty pricey. The cannons are nice, but my love of Buster Prime is that wonderful paint job.

Maybe I would open it, but it would go right on my shelf where I could ogle it daily.
