He looks pretty slick, patiently waiting for pictures of the Alt. Mode...

I know it's just a repaint, but I guess the colors make the face look odd to me. He kinda looks like he's got a pig nose. Still getting it. Like the color of the flames.

It seems TakaraTomy called him Ultra Magnus instead.

Sheesh, it's not Magnus without a blue face and more white than blue, that clearly has a lot of blue.

    I dub thee, Powered Convoy!

I don't mind repaints just as long as they're repainted into a different character. But to repaint a toy and it be the same character is just pointless IMO. Still, with the teal blue and gray colors I could put San Jose Sharks stickers on him and call him Sharktimus Prime. :)

He looks okay, just a bit on the boring side. If they remolded the head into Rodimus and painted him as such, I would have gotten him.

...Rodimus as a big rig? They tried it in Energon, wasn't such a hot idea. I dont want to see Rodimus unless he's a sports car or a winnebego.

To each their own, I suppose. I personally didn't think E-Roddy was so bad, but yes, he does work more as a sports car and a winnebego.

I guess I just want a leader class Rodimus Prime for once.

Must resist urge to buy this repaint...must resist. Aside from Wrekage I have been good so far in only buying the movie characters in this line and was not planning on getting any of the repaints but this one will definately make me think twice about that stance. Maybe I will wait and see if I can get this on clearance somewheres.

Bah, the only good reason to do a repaint of a movie 'bot is to honor the G1 character (i.e. Ratchet). I know Hasbro's got a tradition of repainting to keep up, but that doesn't mean I have to like it.

Tch, was hoping for a Nemesis repaint. How does THIS paint scheme blend into the darkness of night anyway?

    That...would be very cool actually.

Well, they can't do the G1 repaint of Optimus yet because they gotta save that for Botcon '08 so they can charge out the a$$ for it.
