I've had this piece of shit since it first came out and I cannot get his left leg/tread to stay in tank mode. I even tried to force it and nothing it just pops back out. I tried his leg at every angle in every possible rotation. Who's ass at Hasbro do I need to kiss for this thing to work?

 

Return it and get Voyager Megatron.

 

I got him too, was not very pleased with him either.

 

just return it for a new one. its defected. and if u threw away the box just buy a new one and return the old one in said box

 

Then you didn't rotate the legs correctly. You rotate at the hip. I had the same issue where the peg was not alligned with the hole (and would pop back out when forced in), but you have to rotate the ratcheted hip joints to where the two halves that connect to form his butt face down. Moving the rear tread assembly away helps with this adjustmet. Once you do that, the legs peg in great. It's not defective. It just takes some finesse, and as a running theme with the movie line, the instructions suck at explaining this procedure.

Look at the Feedback forum for Leader Megs. I had the same issue until I rotated the hips forward. It triggers the transformation sound and makes it all line up perfectly.

 

Oh I can't wait for Premium ROTF Megatron to come out! I want him so bad! I want all of them real bad. I'll just have to wait though. Good luck getting Megs to work right!
