ill probly be casting the claw.

a couple of questions id like to ask, as it is being my first time casting something and need a little help.
1)could someone point me in the direction of where i can get the casting materials?
    2)How do i avoid bubbles?
3)..........if i need more help ill post it here :p

also if anyone has any ideas on how to give it the "claw" look please let me know, i have a general idea but like to get advice from you guys :)

    BACK ON TOPIC

TK, I find useable casting materials at my local "real" hobby shop, called Pearls. I doubt you will find anything of use in Michael's or the like, but you never know.

As for bubbles, you can use a pressure pot (expensive and unnecessary) or what I like to do is set the mold on my airbrush compressor right after I pour the cast and turn on the compressor. The vibrations will cause the bubbles to exit though the vent/pour hole (you did remember the vent/pour hole right?).

If you don't have an air compressor, your stereo's sub woofer can do the trick! I highly recommend Slayer - Raining Blood or Sacred Reich - Surf Nicuragua for maximum effect!!:thumbs2:

I wanna see some murder claw man!! :thumbs2:

    Limewire= Great work there man!:cool:

Ohhh i see know, well thank you for pointing it out for me:)
but i also has another idea, seeing that here in Ontario Mississauga seeing the release of Voyager Megatron, would the Claw from Voyager Megatron be a good size? or would it be a bit....small?
anybody have a pic of it compaired to LDR Megs?

But id like to see that FR! it be the perfect add-on 2 LDR Megs.
    also a quick question FR,
i actully was able to do the LDR megs elbow on the cannon arm!
its able to hold the cannon just fine, but as soon as i move his trident claw sword thing :) lol) down it just flopps down, any ideas on how to tighten it?

2 ways to tighten up a ball joint which is slipping.
    1) dab of crazy glue (which after time will give out and need to be done again) allow the glue to DRY before putting the ball in the socket.
    2) rubber dip paint. I have used this stuff time and time again for ball joints that are loose. It's called "Plasti-Dip" and is sold at home depot, lowes, etc. a thin layer will bond real well to plastic, and coat the ball in rubber.
