Seeing him in my store and I am wondering what everyones opinion is. How does he scale with everyone. Does he even scale with anyone? Fun factor, etc. Any opinions are appreciated

IMO, Absolutely YAY. I'm contemplating buying a second one just to have him in each mode.

Meh. He's mediocre. He's not a leader class like Optimus, Starscream, or even Sentinel in that they have almost if not masterpiece levels of complexity. He's more of a "gimmicky toy for kids" leader class. And don't bother if you want him to be in scale with anything.

Deluxe HFTD Ironhide is the best Ironhide. I wish they would just upscale him to a Voyager and call it a day.

Funnest Leader Class in quite a while, yes his transformation isn't Leader Optimus or Sentinel complicated but it's lots of fun. His gimmicks are a ton of fun to just mess around with, though the gatling gun in his abs gets old rather quickly the cannons and knife are brilliant. And his vehicle mode is gorgeous, great weight and look to it, I couldn't care less about the leg kibble to be honest.

Yay, especially with add-on weapons that're coming out. Forget scale, he's fun to look at and with the mods, is great.

There are some QC issues with some of them in the way of loose ball joints and not enough clearance on the knee joint for any real articulation. The BIGGEST complaint I've heard is about the BLUE paint, but honestly it doesn't bother me. If I had the skills and time, I probably would repaint him but all in all he's one of my favs (aside from the brickiness of the lower legs/feet, lol)

    Edit:

Almost forgot I DID order the guns/swords kit. Wish they were gonna get here earlier than they are but no point in complaining when there's nothing you can do about it, lol

I'd say yea... But like most molds he is not w/o his issues. Most have been posted but my biggest complaint is that most of his black is FLAT black where certain parts are molded in GLOSS black which is very obvious in alt mode, which, is how I prefer to display him... It may just be mine but I doubt that I'm the only one with this issue. Though I may be the only one to care.

Nay. Bought one, opened it and returned it. Even for $25 on sale it wasn't worth it. The articulation is far too limited. The gimmicks are OK, but they hinder the design way too much for my taste.

hands down yay IMO. one of the letdowns is the blue coloured legs but if you can get past that I think its a great representation of movie ironhide.

You might want to try reading the feedback thread on the figure.

Yay, my favorite Ironhide. It is meaty looking. If I can grab a second one on clearance, I will be grabbing it to display one in both modes. Just can't bring myself to fork out the $40-$45 right now for a second one.

As somebody who owns every movie line mold from all three movies I can say he is largely oversized for every other size toy class, except Human Alliance. If you have an HA shelf then get him as that is the closest were gonna get to one.

Yes the mold has too many gimmicks and funky colored legs but he simply looks awesome standing behind HA jazz and BB

Nay. Might be a fun toy, but his baby blue pants absolutely kill it.
