I think he looks pretty cool...faceplate is a nice feature.

The eyes are a bit off, but I'm assuming it's due to that being a prototype or test.
I like the fact that he's loaded with weapons, but has relatively little underside kibble in vehicle.

This is another definite buy from line for me, after Skyhammer.

I'm just wondering if I should get it as soon as it's available for retail, or just wait a bit and hope it a bit of a discount later on...

 

Oh great, the facemask can come down! My one big complaint with this figure is now gone! Must have!

 

I gloated about my DotM skids... Until I found he had 2 left knees and required "lockdown-esque" surgery to have real working knees...

These pics have just made me realize that Ironhide is probably my most favorite movie design out of Bay's trilogy

 

I definitely want to see what a Masterpiece paintjob will do for this guy; he seems to be an excellent sculpt held back by some odd coloring decisions. What's with Hasbro using so much blue on the last few Ironhides?
