UPDATED: I am Now planning to paint the dark grey parts silver on my Striker Prime's vehicle mode and I need the right tone of blue to add extra detail to his feet.
I would appreciate some pictures for reference.

I think Testors Gloss blue and Gloss red look close enough.

Still need to know what I should pick up on Wednesday, I need an exact color for the blue, red, and silver.

I would like to find silver that is good enough so I can paint all my figures that have grey plastic, but look like the silver Hasbro used for ROTF Sideswipe.

The tones of silver on sideswipe and prime are different, so I would just go with a plain old silver. Probably enamel, because anything metallic in acrylic seems to not... Look right for some reason... As for the battle damage, just remove it with alcohol, and you shouldn't need to get red or blue paints.

I guess I will, and I already removed some of the battle damage, I just used a whiteboard marker, removes paint and wipes off easily.

Since I'm selling my HFTD Prime I think I'll just buy a chrome silver since i'm getting Striker Optimus. I'd like to paint the outside bits that are dark grey on the truck mode.

I would try removing the battle damage instead of painting over it. Q-tip and 70% alcohol should do the trick. Will look much better than potential paint and plastic color mismatches.

I use Testors Model Masters Aluminum for Sideswipe. Matches the regular paint almost perfectly. Also, great for drybrushing figures like Optimus who have a brighter finish.

For non-Alcad chroming, I use Model Masters Chrome Silver. It's not super shiny reflective, but it's chrome enough.

As for removing the battle damage, alcohol is good. Acryl thinner is amazing. Word of warning: use it sparingly; too much will melt the plastic.

Sorry, I don't have a camera. If I did, I would have 300+ stop motions on my YouTube channel right now.
