Hey, guys. I'm at a serious dilemma here. Somehow I've been disgraceful enough to not get a leader class Starscam yet from the HFTD line. I haven't gotten DoTM Leader Ironhide either... Due to limited funding, I want to ask, what should I get? HFTD Leader Starscream or DoTM Leader Ironhide? Thanks!

Well, if you can find the Leader Ironhide and you like that more....then why not that? Of course, Leader class Starscreams are easier to find (at least in my area) and they're about less than half the cost of Leader Ironhide.

Leader Ironhide is a cool figure but Leader Starscream is like one of the best TF ever released IMO.

Leader Starscream is a must buy if you have any interrest in Starscream at all. TJ Maxx has him for $25.
Plus jets are cooler than overscaled pickup trucks so you'll get 2 fun modes with him.

IH is still good tho, maybe you can find him on sale down the road or something.

Starscream hands down. I love ironhide but, his leader is nothing compared to screamer.

Starscream!!! if you have a TJ Maxx/Marshalls around you get him there if he's still availiable. they are only $24. he's awesome!!!!!! don't have Leader Ironhide yet. he was the main TF i wanted in a leader class but after the reviews i've decided to wait until later.

Screamer is better, but Ironhide is pretty good. Get Screamer as a priority though.

No question, Starscream. Not only an amazing figure but IMO one of the best TFs ever made in recent history.

Get Starscream first! You should be able to find him at TJ Maxx, Marshall's or Ross for around $20-$25 and he is an absolute must for a collection, IMO. Ironhide is great and probably my favorite movie character, but his toy doesn't even come close to the awesomeness that is Leader Starscream!

I keep hearing all this praise for Leader Starscream but I'm just not a fan. Granted, from the reviews, it looks like he has a very satisfying transformation. I'm just not a fan of the robot mode at ALL so I can't see myself buying even at the $26 price point. The jet mode looks like a huge improvement over any previous mold of this figure though.

Starscream by a mile. And I say that not just as a Starscream fan but the engineering that went into both his modes is just awesome. A very solid and fun robot with neat weapon gimmicks. Pretty poseable too! One of my all time favorite Transformers molds, and that's saying something!

Starscream, but if you ever think you will want Ironhide and actually see him, I suggest you pick him up as he is fairly rare. Otherwise, Starscream is a vastly superior figure.
