    Good comparison shots.

I re-looked at the pics again, and one thing that keeps popping into my mind is HOW? Serioulsy, it's damn near a perfect representation of the CGI model. I'm both envious of your abilities and awed at the execution. I'd easily vote for it as custom of the year, transforming or not.

Wow thanks alot :)  the thing took ages to make and it's ridiculous how much time I spent going over the cgi renders and stills from the films, thanks again.

Do you have any pics of it prepainted or in WIP? I'd love to see it as it really doesn't look like something a normal human being could have made from scratch. haha! It's seriously that awesome. I thought the same with your Megatron. I can't fathom how they were done without using a lot of parts from other toys.

Probably the best DOTM Shockwave Custom. Ever.

I would, however, reposition the head to lower, and more towards the chest, he doesn't have a very tall neck.

There is a word I invented to describe the manliest and most amazing things in nature like Beef Jerky, Whiskey and Chuck Norris. That word applies here.

    Awesomanlitude. 'Nuf Said.

Best advice I can give is to start with the ear/horn things and make them separately then do the mouth with the eye above, then fit all three parts together, when you are happy with the angles then do the top of the head. It seems strange to do it in separate parts but so much of what makes shockwaves head works is the relationship between his mouth and horns and once you have those right the rest will come together. Hope that helps a little bit, good luck with your shockwave :)
