BTW, picked up STARSCREAM and IRONHIDE this arvo. It definitely pays to know your local toy warehouse manager. :D

Both are fantastic, Starscreams being the biggest surprise - he looks MUCH better in real life than internet pictures would have you believe.

    Lies, all lies!

    Ahem. Sorry. :redface2:

I mean, where? Give me a URL. Even Hasbro.com.au just takes me to the usual online shop which will only ship to a US address.

I told Bibyco about the deluxes being available and they've now made them available to buy online, which is great news for anyone having trouble with thier local stockists.

They're currently discussing whether or not to put the other size classes up for sale or not.

More news, target Brookside has the whole assortment. They also told me that every target should have the same out on display by the end of the week.

The plane mode is the only thing that lets him down; the guns really are a distraction and make him look more like a heavily armed gunship rather than the lithe and agile fighter the F22 is supposed to be.

But his robot mode is fantastic, his whole design just screams cocky attitude and confidence.

I was heading back in on Friday; all they have today is the Big Rig Blaster. The beauty of living in Tassie is that it seems to have far less fans than the other states per capita. I hear reports all the time of Targets and Kmarts selling out of thier stock within a day, but I know that even if they restock tomorrow, bugger all will have sold by the time I get there on Friday.

Of course, I always try and get things through my wholesaler first. I paid $64 AU for Screamer and Ironhide. Everyone else will have to wait till months after the movie flops to get them at prices like that.  He also had the Big Rig Blaster and Unleashed BB, and was expecting the rest to turn up by Friday. Hopefully I can snaffle a cheap leader Prime.

Something else of interest he had was the Classics Devestator set - cases and cases of them. I wonder where they were heading, beause he doesn't stock Target, and Tassie doesn't have a TRU at all.

If they're the size class I'm thinking of, then that's the most we get them for here. Only Leader and Supreme classes cost more than that.

They're voyagers (not Ultras... the movie line has done away with Ultras). Voyagers tend to retail for around $40 - $45. I think he means that he got both for $64.

    That's exactly what I meant.

Although the local Toyworld has been known to charge up to $60 for a Voyager class figure (!)
