Well, QP, keep in mind that the CG models are physically impossible.

Well, in terms of pricing + engineering within the realms of sanity, anyway. ;)

I understand that, it's just I'd like to see a transforming version of it that got the major elements of the transformation right like Ultimate Bumblebee. Perhaps if they'd left out the electronics it would have given them some more freedom or development time to work on the legs.

I'm quite glad that he doesn't resemble the CG version (which I abhor) as much.

For me, I don't think I've wanted a modern figure this bad in many, many years. Maybe since the Optimal Optimus BW fig or the RiD Scourge fig.

    Just fantastic.

Oh yeah, I understand where you are coming from, and maybe someday we'll see an Ultimate Prime, but keep in mind, Ultimate Bumblebee didn't get the transformation half right either. I do not believe it is within the realms of three dimensional physics to create a working model of the CG Transformers.

SOLD! I'm probably going to get both the voyager and leader sized Prime's. Voyager for fiddling with and leader as my main display piece.

I always thought that Optimal Optimal was a supreme class Action Master as he doesn't really transform. :p

Shit, that would be a concept : Beast Wars Action Masters with transforming weapons or vehicles...

Optimal Optimus is what brought me back into the hobby back in those days. Believe me, the revelation that TFs had not died when I saw the TRU ad in the Sunday paper and saw that figure was a definite jolt. I HAD to have it.

I get that vibe from the movie Prime too. It's a good thing too, since other than Classics, I haven't been revvvved up for TFs like that one and Scourge in a long time.

I am definately looking forward to both this guy & the Voyager class figure. And I'm very glad I skipped all the Armada & up Primes.

He definitely looks way better in this review than in other pictures. I now love it! :D
