Someone was wrong there is fairly vocal contingent of fans who want a leader Lugnut and Hasbro's response was that there are currently no plans. I honestly think the chances of a Leader class Lugnut are very slim to produce a second larger mould for a second string character seems highly unlikely to me.

I mean think about it froma business perspective you could allocate a new leader class mould to a second string character who has already gotten a toy or you could allocate said mould to a new character from season 3 who has no mould at all.

Lugnut isnt like Optimus, Megatron or Bulkhead, Optimus gets multiple mould cause well he is Optimus same with Megatron and Bulkhead is a core cast member Lugnut is supporting cast Im sorry its just not going to happen.

No Leader Class Lugnut. Not that the Voyager's bad, quite the opposite, but c'mon, a Leader Lugz would kick the whole God damn world's ass.

    If they even do one.

I would actually like a Deluxe or Voayger Omega if they decided to make a toy for him, as weird as it sounds. He's never going to be in scale, so i'd rather they make a good, faithful out-of scale figure then make a huge, junky one.

oh my yes!! he should! i meant my comment to be about mostly about just Decepticons. out of all the characters-into-toys, Omega Supreme should get the largest, then Lugnut, then Megatron, then everyone else, then Bumblebee

When did fan wishful thinking become rumors? Last I checked Hasbro wasn't thinking of doing a larger Lugnut.

Agreed. Larger does not instantly equal better, and honestly, very rarely does.

    Education time.

Leader class toys are reserved for either the "big guys" (Optimus Prime, Megatron, Ultra Magnus, etc.) or they are reserved for large "playsets" type of characters (if Omega Supreme is released, he may be leader sized, for example).

Lugnut is considered a second tier character, doesn't get a lot of screen time, and will most likely NOT be receiving a toy in that scale. There are exceptions of course (movie Brawl/Devastator) but that is done after marketing research and sales trends.
