Wow, what a tough call on this. Even though Battle Ops is leading by four points, there are a lot of fans who still think the Leader Class version is superior. I've seen both, and I personally prefer the Leader Class BB, as he's less chunky and the external electronics means lower maintenance and easier customization. In fact, he'll be the last figure I'm getting before I'm completely retired from the movie toy line.

Leader class 'Bee has my vote...I think the articulation and paint apps are superior to the Battle Ops version...still...both versions are awesome. :)

I like Leader BB the best. The transformation and overall look in both modes just makes me like it better. Also it has more play value to me. Also the stealth force mode is awesome lol. BOBB is good for a display piece now.

Dotm Leader BB's Vehicle Mode seals the deal.

I'm in this camp. The fact that Target marked it back up to $60 with the shelf label "Cyber-Ops Bumblebee" a week later makes me feel like I got away with legal theft. Plus, it plays the original theme song.

Honestly, I don't even have Leader BB and I admit I only bought this one because Takara sells the mold as a Masterpiece. I am simple minded and easily swayed by simple words. Battle-Ops wins for me now, but once I see the film I may decide that he is outdated and intolerable.

I have both, but I prefer the Battle Ops BB because it has the electronic features built right into the figure as opposed to just a back pack. I also like the color scheme on the BO version better.

How is this thing better than battle blades bumblebee?

I'd have to say this is one of the worst BB toys I own (there are quite a few I haven't bothered to get- so he's not the worst ever). Although they did fix a couple issues battle blades had, to me he looks like a sumo wrestler, and is sorely missing in paint aps and details. Over all I feel like he's a big step backwards.

    Just my opinion, though.

    I have the following:

    - Battle Ops
    - Battle Ops Costco Exclusive
    - Masterpiece
    - DOTM Leader

I love them all, but DOTM Leader is the winner for me because it does not have electronics in the body itself, making it lighter and easier to transform, less bulkier too, and the alt mode is superior IMO.

    :)

Both my Targets still have BOBB priced at $60 which sucks. I went with the DOTM Leader BB since I had the Target $10 off coupon and the leaders are discounted to $39.99 versus their regular price of $44.99.

I like the electronic gimmicks a lot more on BOBB, but what I look for more is how the figure looks. Both have their unique issues, but I felt that the DOTM Leader BB looked a little bit better despite the head and (AGAIN!) the lack of a right arm.

I like my Costco gold a lot. While the detailing is slightly superior on MP, the gold is a fantastic color scheme. I've got the gold Lawsons movie BB as well and it's amazing what that did for a generally weak mold.

I"m staying with Battle Ops simply because, and this is silly I know, the Rims on the DOTM leader at not painted silver! I know I could do it myself, however if I am spending Leader money on a toy, it better at least have the Rims painted.

Buy it on clearance in a few months, then spend $2.00 on paint. Aside from that,in DOTM the rims are closer to dark grey or titanium in color :)
