    From CoolToyReview.com's Q&A.

I found it weird how they only said how they choose who to make, and not answer that Blackout won't be made/considered.

(please don't fill this thread with "ZoMgZ, No Blackoutz noob!" and stuff like that, just sharing something I found to be a little...odd)

Well, it's more that they give this answer if they really aren't sure, or if they answer is "currently no." They aren't planning on him, I'm betting, but it's not like they're avidly against the idea either. Still, I think it would take quite the stir to get one to come along. I'd certainly like to see it.

We really wants us some LC Blackout. :D

But yeah, there've been quite a few. Maybe a sign of the "stir" that's needed.

As much as I want a Leader Blackout, I don't see it happening. At least, not for a while. Starscream makes a lot of sense with how popular he is and how he should be nearly as big as Megatron and a LOT bigger than most characters.

It IS true, that they never said never. I just don't think it will be in a "Revenge of the Fallen" line. I would not be surprised if they made new movie-verse lines to supplement the main lines, especially if the line in general is popular. If this IS the case, a Leader Blackout may make sense.

    Ugh.

Enough about the leaders and the classes and the Blackouts and the Grindors and the threads about the leaders and the classes and the Blackouts and the Grindors.....

It just pisses me off, is all.

That does just seem like a "we don't want to commit to anything" statement.

But then again, it isn't a "no" either.
I remember awhile back that an answer to a question on one of these panels actually was an out right "no". I wish I could remember what the question was.

On the plus side- they have to know there is some demand (not to be confused with lots of demand). That will probably be something they at least look at in later lines (especially the next movie).

Unless Blackout were somehow heavily featured in the next movie (which seems unlikely), don't hold your breath.

That seemed to me a pretty clear "No." Blackout's dead, and unless TF3 is "Return Of Blackout," there's no plans to make a Leader Blackout. A character who's dead is unlikely to get one of the 3 Leader slots that seem to be standard these days.

Correct, they didn't say "no". They indirectly said "in your f***ing dreams".

Is this a post from a conspiracy theorist?

Did Lee Harvey Oswald pull the trigger?

    I don't understand the question...

HEY, he didn't say YES!!!! break out the Jr. CSI kits again.....

At this point, this kind of thread is like asking a bank robber to announce which bank he's gonna rob and when.

he only has one answer and people will still milk it for some cryptic meaning.
"Can't say at the moment" turns to speculation about how local it is, etc.

    Enough.
This is as bad as, or worse than, the hype and hoopla around that long drooled over Unicron prototype.
took 17 years of fanboy theories before we got a real unicron.

Ldr Blackout is now the new Unicron.

Not to put too fine a point on it, but anyone who seriously thinks that Leader Blackout's toy would actually turn out taller than Prime or Megs is out of their flipping mind.

It's in the same future run as LC Jazz.
    Seriously.

If scale is the issue that he needs to be bigger than Voyager, well, he'd need to be bigger than Leader Class, too. Maybe Supreme.

That answer is clearly a diplomatic way of saying "no".

It's also a diplomatic way of explaining WHY they're saying no. So the original draft of that probably read something like "You out of your damn mind? The mofo got killed in the first film, and you still want us to make another version of him in a size class that normally ends up shelfwarming even with popular characters? Bitch, you be trippin' BALLS."

For some reason I imagine the original draft was written by a black character in a Michael Bay film. :inquisiti
