I've got plans in my head of blueprints for a Leader Class Blackout! If I drew out the plans do you think Hasbro will listen, or should I post it here?

Unless you get hired by Hasbro as a designer beforehand, it won't do you any good. There's all matter of legal issues if they did otherwise.

It's because I have plans to make the tail of the helicopter his arms, a switch under the propeller to spin it and make helicopter sounds, the side doors of the helicopter will be the soles of his feet, the front opens up into his head like Animated Lugnut and him saying "Blackout Destroy" in his robot mode.

PS, have not found out a plan to attach Scoponok.

I don't think it'll do you any good to send your plans to Hasbro. There's a legal issue.

He should transform just like Voyager Blackout, since thats how he transformed in the movie. (with the exception of the tail section, that needs to fold up into the backpack)

Yeah, legal matters and such would put you in a bind.

Doesn't mean I don't want to see it, though.

Sending Hasbro blueprints for a Leader Blackout will do just the opposite of what you intend. It'll actually stop them from making it, unless they somehow already have a Leader Blackout in the works (which is extremely unlikely). Personally, I wouldn't even post it. Hasbro reps are known to visit the boards, and if they were to see it, it'd pretty much do the same exact thing as sending it to them would. For legal reasons, they can't use any ideas from non-Hasbro employees.

doesnt apply to characters and properties they already own the rights to produce toys of. if memory serves, there's a red skull figure that looks exactly like one of jin saotome's customs. I've heard that hasbro even acknowledged it's based on "a popular custom"

but no, blueprints would not do anything. they're useless. you dont know how hasbro designs figures, and they happen to pay people a lot of money who are much better at it than you ever will be.

now deliver a giant steel mold to them, and a legal document surrendering all the rights to it, then maybe, maybe, they'll consider it for more than a second before telling you to go away.

    yeah, that was needed.
For all we know this guys a damn genius who can design the coolest shit the worlds ever seen.

It's like walking down the street and picking a fight with a stranger, for all you know the guys a 10th degree black belt who could eat you for breakfast.

You made some very valid points, but there's no need at all to insult the guy. Totally unwarranted.

Maybe if every transfan on the internet stomps their feet up and down three times at 9.00 PM est one day, Hasbro will take notice.
