Hmm...hard to tell but it appears that he does not have that same bad arm pinback problem that the deluxe has, but damn that white and clear plastic is just totally ugly.

 

It is a completely different mold, not just a size upgrade (ala Supreme Starscream), his arms connect completely differently.

 

I am SOOOOO picking this bad boy up when I see him! He looks awesome, the kibble on him doesn't look too bad, fairly good range of motion, and alot of gimmicks. But all of the pics won't come up for me.

First thing I'm gonna do after I transform him a couple of times is take a paint marker to those clear parts.

 

I hope his head stays attached in tank mode...I have a sneaking suspicion you take the head off...If you guys remember the box the head is seperate in the box....this would suck...

 

The head-attached-to-front-of-box thing was just a bit of weirdness from whoever did the mock-up package seen on the BotCon Hasbro tour. It's not going to be that way on the final toy.

I hope that's a joke. One of the photos is dedicated to showing before/after shots of his head-hiding mechanism.

I didn't want this guy until I saw these photos. Still, the white plastic is enough for me to want to wait for the desert camo version, with his gunmetal plastic coloring. Pity about the clear plastic missile launchers/cannon though.

 

Anyone else think the head actually hides TOO well in vehicle mode? Looks like there's a gaping hole down there.

 

I love this figure! Probably the toy I've been looking forward to the most in the movie line!

The sculpting is awesome, the paint job is great, the character design is one of my favourites, and the toy represents in very faithfully. Love it, love it, love it!!!

I wouldn't put Deluxe Jazz with the awesomeness that is Brawl! Maybe the real replica when it comes out, but not that piece disgrace to movie Jazz.

 

This thing destroys Deluxe Jazz just by existing. I'm glad I put off buying Deluxe Brawl for this baby.

so do the clear parts light up? if so, what color? if not, what a waste... they will become black, along with some other minor repainting.

what happens to his head in vehicle mode? I've seen pics where it's totally visible, and these where it disappears entirely - which (if either) is correct?

 

That was a packaging mockup. The head had fallen off; it's not supposed to be separate.
