More often than not, I find that removing paint can add to a figure just as much as painting it.
Added the grills to the sides of the head.
Added some odd stickers I had around from various other kits.
Probably going to order some repro labels military stars for the wings.

    Never really liked the Gobots.
    Too campy, even back then.
    But I did like Leader-1.
Had the delux Leader-1 when I was a kid.
    What else can I say,

By the way, The classics coronation kit w/ leader-1 head sux.
Nothing fits right, but I'm not going to rant.
    Don't waste your money.

The panel lining is kinda simple. I used to do it like a mess when I first started it, trying to stay in the lines.
It was when I discovered how to remove paint, that I learned "the" trick to panel lining.
To remove paint, disassemble, and soak the parts in 91% isopropyl alcohol.
Using tooth brushes and "magic erasers" remove the paint.
The alcohol does most of the work.
    The tools do the rest.
Well it's the magic erasers that's my trick to panel lining.
Line the panels with an extra fine point sharpie, and wipe off excess with the magic eraser. Doesn't matter how sloppy you do it, it comes out fine.
Sometimes I cut the nib of the sharpie to get into really tight spaces.
I also use a sharpened chopstick to get to those tight spaces the eraser can't fit.
You basically rub the ink off, and sometimes you leave a shaded look to it, which might be desirable.
    Hope that helps.

That is epic! Love the detail work on the head, and I am loving the paint-aps throughout the body of both robot and vehicle mode. Very nice!

Nice! I was thinking of using the Leader 1 head from the star scream coronation kit later on....but wasn't sure how it would look. Good job! :thumbs2:

oh how this brought me back to my childhood, even pre-transformers era! cool stuff really... but being a fan of leader-1 too, even as a child, i kinda compared him to starscream, thundercracker, and skywarp since all of them are same F-15s, and did notice that they differ in their transformations. Leader-1 i believe is relatively easier to transform. generally, i'd treat this as white starscream with Leader-1's head.

The panel lining is beautifully done... really brings out the detail in such a colourless deco. At first glance, I thought this was a Masterpiece Starscream!
