hated how they tossed Erbe. Bogosian and D'nofrio.

SVU is still doing okay in my book. I still can't believe how it has taken over from L&O for having the best guest stars- Robin Williams and Carol Burnett were both awesome.

The original show has kinda lost its teeth and i barely watch it.

Diane Neal is still the hottest actress to play an ADA and(seperately) a rapist

i only like jack mccoy, and that's all lol not so much a big fan of the newer episodes though, he's no longer the prosecutor, so it's no longer worth watching. :(

We all do. Jerry Orbach (and his character) embodied so much that was/is the L&O franchise

    Agreed, Diane Neal was HAWT.

I love SVU, and Criminal Intent is... okay in my book. Shame that Goren, Eames, and Ross had to go. I also like Nichols - always a fan of Jeff Goldblum.

I probably don't like Criminal Intent and the original Law and Order as much just because I haven't gotten to know them a lot. I've spent most of my time with SVU all these years. The original Law and Order just seems too alien to me after all my experience with SVU.

Some short snippets of IMO right here:

Finn is a badass when he busts somebody's ass. Stabler is the kind of bad cop I like. Olivia is a great cop period. Munch is a cynical yet capable tech geek. Huang is a very intelligent doctor, and Warner is cool with how cool-headed she is even while working in the morgue and all. Don is a good leader, and he understands the detectives and how they feel.

I miss the days of Stone, Kincaid and Shiff for the prosecution and Brisco, Logan, Kragen on the Vanilla L&O

I wish they'd give Munch more to do on SVU, I understand Benson and Stabler are the stars of the show but still the Munch-centric episodes (with Marlee Matlin and Gerry Lewis) were great Eps.

Never really got into CI... D'onofrio bugged me too much, and I only have seen a few with Goldbloom. The Logan Episodes were Ok

As far as the current cast on L & O... I like Alana De la Garza (she's hot and will be a MILF soon :)  ). I dont really like Cutter, Bernard and Lupo are ok. Shame S. Epatha Merkeson is leaving at the end of the season though. Will Miss Van Buren

YOU BOTH DAMN SKIPPY ABOUT THAT!

Alana De La Garza is as hot has Diane Neal.  The first (and perhaps only) latina to star on the series in its whole 20 year run. Represent, preciosa! :thumbs2:

It is a shame indeed that S. Epatha Merkerson will be leaving at the end of the season. :cry  Now the question is: Which actor/actress will be the perfect replacement for her? :inquisiti

Yeah, I need to catch up with all of the above. Though admittably I only got into Criminal Intent because of the Nicole Wallace episodes. I mainly watch the original and SVU.

Yeah, I miss Briscoe too but there's still VanBurran(sp?) and McCoy. :D

Munch is one of my fave characters though. He reminds me of every conspiritalist(sp?) everytime he opens his mouth. :lol

i chuckle when my dad turns on L&O on TNT and he finds himself watching an episode with Denis Farina (who used to be a real Chicago cop).
he was better as a mobster than a cop. Dad just hates the actor completely, lol.

i would like to give SVU props for one serious tricks they pulled, which was a great way to shake the cast up a bit.
the episode(s) where the detectives got psych evaluations and a couple were reassigned, while Stabler and Benson were placed on notice their jobs were at risk.
it was a interesting way to introduce Finn to the team. The woman telling him, "oh, you're the one who got my job." very awkward...

i just like the occasional episode where the squad itself gets heat from outside forces. Namely the top brass at police HQ who want results or cold cases solved to boost the department's case solving percentage.

I'm digging Sharon Stone as the ADA on SVU.

I still think Stephanie March (Alex Cabot) is hotter than Diane Neal (Casey Novak)

I do wish Alana De la Garza had kept her hair long like she had when she played Delko's sister Marisol on CSI Miami...

As to who would replace Van Buren... good question.
