Hey since G.I. Joe figures have improved over the years, toy technology must have improved the Transformers as well.

Is there a Skywarp that actually has built in hands?

I meant are there Seeker plane toys that don't have individual forearms like the '80s ones?

Do you mean a remold of the original starscream toy? no.

If you're asking if they've re-done the G1 mold to have hands that aren't added on parts, no.

If you're asking if they've made new figures of Skywarp since that do, yes.

It's not like Hasbro went back and made the original 80's figures better in any way. They just made new figures.

No idea what "re-mold" means, but there's a Thundercracker redeco of the Classics Seeker style out soon (or now if you got your BBTS/Ent.Earth shipment).

If you are specifically asking if they will be remolding the original seeker mold from the 80's, the answer is no. And out of all honestly, I doubt they will ever do something that extensive to a thirty-year old mold.

Insecticon posted a picture of that mold on the first page, along with the Masterpiece version.

It is extremely unlikely that they'd remold any G1 figures. However, the Classics line has been going strong since 2006, if you like your toys to have knees.

They do sometimes remold things to comply with newer safety regulations though (like making missiles longer).

The only remold I can think of to the G1 Seekers are the longer missiles for the Hasbro releases.

Retool, as in "they retool the die they use to cast molds".

But yeah, they do it to comply with safety regulations. That's really about it. Not to improve the toy or anything like that, which was what I was intending. Though they have done that for later releases or redecos of figures too (not necessarily G1, but I know they fixed an issue with Cyb. Thundercracker for it's Movie redeco).
