Is it wrong that I have the original comics (and variant covers), the original trade, and now this?

I got this on Wednesday despite having the TPB already. I needed the extras :p

I have read it hardcover to hardcover, and I love all of the stuff.

I am surprised that I noticed the odd edit in the actual story, most notably the one on page 9 of chapter 2 where Verity is "wheeling" to where all the bots are, in the TPB here face was dreadful looking, she looked about 60, in the hardcover it looks great now :)

-Bullets as before was great, all the Bio's are great and make me like Rung even more.
-The Guest Artwork surprised me, so many great art styles, I never knew Joana Lafuente was so good at Art too, that Perceptor is stunning.
-The Squadron-X IDW info while short is super interesting
-Nice catch up with Guzzle and Impactor in Escape
-Zero Point is brilliant, James Robers can do no wrong, Nice to get Roadbusters in depth thoughts on things.
-In Word and Deed is a nice catch up with some characters we have not seen for a while, it will be interesting to see what Verity does with THAT.

Blurg, I got it today. Nice stuff in the Extras. At least I didn't have all the Autopedia bits already.

Oddly enough, the cut material winds up spoiling the Verity mini-comic, if you read everything in order.

I also hope that IDW revisits Verity and Jimmy at some point, and that the "nothing but robots on Cybertron!" crowd hasn't TOTALLY taken over. Couldn't give a fig about the Witwickys though, ugh.

Yeah, I gotta recommend to anyone who's planning on buying this to read all the story stuff (Bullets, Escape, Zero Point, In Word and Deed, the Profiles) before reading through the other extras, as there are spoilers for the extra material. I ended up reading the last page first and I'm very thankful I did.

I'm hoping Nick Roche and James Roberts come to TFCon this year. I would love to have this thing signed!

This book is awesome in so many ways. I'm definitely glad I ordered it!

I got mine from Amazon the other day. I finished reading it last night.

I read all the hype and just figured that people were just overdoing it... As it turns out, the book was excellent. All the hype surrounding it was warranted. I haven't read the text stories yet, but the comic portions of it were outstanding.

I totally want to see a sequel. A new team from the ashes of the old... With the excellence of the two Transformers comics right now, this fits in perfectly.

I stopped reading IDW Transformers comics when AHM started. I picked up an issue here and there and I still wasn't happy (even the ongoing, I hated Don's redesigns).

Between this and the new titles, I'm buying Transformers comics again. One of the things I loved the most about the Marvel Comics is how much of a mixed bag it became in the Furman issues. You could have characters like Prowl, Jazz, and Silverbolt interacting with Nightbeat, Cloudburst, and Hot Rod. LSOTW, RID, and MTMTE all continue to do that, and I love it.

So let's see a sequel, eh?

    but
    everyone's dead.
Kinda hard to make a sequel when
    everyone's dead.
Especially because its the characters that make it so great in the first place.

Nonsense! Half the characters were new to the Wreckers to begin with.

That said, I'd like this to be the end of this particular group. It was, after all, their Last Stand.

    Maybe a new group?

Sure, they can have a sequel!

Impactor and Guzzle are still alive
    , and
    Springer
is still out there. And let's not forget the final panel in the HC with
    Verity
    and the hint that
    Ironfist
    may be
    backed up
    ...
