In the last fight between "Jetfire Prime" and The Fallen, my friend saw that Jetfire Prime had a sword, I did not notice it. Is it actually there, and if so, where in the world did it come from?

But Optimus didn't have a sword, he had two mini blades, but there was no sword... I'm confused

We take to calling those "swords".

Actually, in the forest battle, Prime's hands become heated swords but when he rips Grindors head apart, you can see that they're mini-blades or scimitars.
So yeah, it was one of probably many swords that Prime hides in his arm.

Yeah, he uses the flame blade in the final battle. See the action figure for where it came from (they flip out from his forearms).

I felt that this movie did a better job of matching the hasbro figures with their onscreen counterparts. It was almost as though some of the toys were designed first, as was done with most classic robot cartoons.

After this movie, I'll probably just take to calling them "primes melee weapons", instead of any specific kind of weapon. It seems as though he can manipulate their shape at will, as seen when they're the hooks he uses to Picasso up Blackouts face.

They're just his pop-out arm blades (swords whatever) that he used to pop off Bonecrusher's head with in the first movie. Now Im mad he did'nt use both blades in the 1st movie lol , Primes been holding out on us.

He had the Fallen's staff during the fight with him i believe, and used his swords.

Prime does use his sword in the final battle and then steals the fallens staff ("Give me your face!") and jetfire chops up mixmaster with his battle axe, which doubles as his cane. But seriously did anyone notice jetfires spark?

i thought the hooks were like the left overs from his swords. like he kicked so much ass that all that ass kickery chipped away at the swords and left the hooks as like anchors.

    Jetfire has an axe.

Prime's arms can deploy either swords or little hooks.

I thought the hooks were just Prime's swords worn down from the fight.

no, by that point they have been battered and bangled so much that they are not really recognisably anything, which is why he has to use them as rippers rather than just cutting it off
