I rented this on Tuesday and I still haven't decided if I was confused or just bored. I'm not a big fan of the series, but I did watch most of it. Good thing, too. Because that's pretty much the only reason I knew what the hell was going on most of the time. The only positive thing I can say about the flick is that I thought the girl playing Yue was pretty cute. That's about it.

last i read, was that the 2 planned sequels were officially greenlit(cause of Part 1 having more success in Europe & Japan then in the U.S., according to what i read), but that NICK may be dropping M. Knight from writing & directing them. M. Knight has also stated publicly to the press that he does plan on continuing the Trilogy if has the backing of the Movie Studios(that financed Part 1) or not.

Worldwide Gross: $318,941,258 (does not include current DVD/Blu-ray sales)

I honestly don't want to be associated with anyone who decides to own this movie....

    ....it'll hurt my cred.

I want to forget this happened. I will be surprised if there is a sequel. Even MORE surprised if it's with M. Night Shamamamamamalan.

    I say reboot.

Even the Rifftrax is kinda sub-par compared to most of the others. There's some golden moments (during one of those long "martial arts movement" scenes they put in the exact words a flight stewardess will tell everyone before an airplane takes off-- they matched EXACTLY, I cracked up with that), but overall it's not that funny, so if that's the only reason you're buying it I'd skip.

Promise? All she did was laugh like an idiot and smile at the end. That shows nothing.

    Also doesn't redeem a 1:45 minute-long trainwreck.

I guess I'm just not the the curious type! Usually, in life, if it looks like a piece of sh*t, smells like a piece of sh*t, then guess what? It is a piece of sh*t! From the moment I heard Shamylan( or whatever his name is) was directing this movie, as a fan of the series I had written off this movie like a bad cheque! I have not seen it yet and never intend to do so along with the likes of the streetfighter live action movie in 94 or 95(Man, even as a hardcore streetfighter fan and a teeneager back then I could see it for what it was; a piece of sh*t) and Revenge of the Fallen as well!

According to what I read on Wikipedia, a critic actually said it was so bad it made dragonball evolution seem like a masterpiece!!! How is that even remotely possible!!!! Wow!!

....I liked Dragon ball....it introduced me to the series

But there are rumors that The only thing Shamalongadingdong will have with the sequels is helping to pay for them.
