Has Laserbeak done anything in the series. Know that I really didn't watch season 1 that much, and what drew me into the series was Optimus becoming a Decepticon, and I've been watching every episode ever since. But in season 2 I can't remember Laserbeak doing anything (excluding Triage). Did he do anything in season 1?

He captured fowler, came across megatron and starscream in space and shot airachnid

 

He was Soundwave's bra.

When Soundwave takes his top off, things get ugly.

But, laserbeak also spied on Starscream and offered backup fire for Soundwave in his fight versus Airachnid. He actually is pretty useful.

 

Soundwave:
1. Recieves transmissions and has updated the 'Cons on a number of scenarios, such as Megatron's return and the Autobot's in Convoy, as well as providing Makeshift with Wheeljack's info
2. The primary factor in Airachnid's humiliation.
3. Defeated Wheeljack and secured the Resonance Blaster/ Secured the Energon harvester
4. Is working on decoding the Iacon database
5. Forced Starscream/Knock-Out to stop trying to offline Megatron


Laserbeak:
1. Captured Agent Fowler
2. Found Starscream/Megatron in space
3. Helped defeat Airachnid
4. Shot down the Jackhammer

I'd say they're pretty even. Two halves of the same competence.

 

It shouldn't even be seperate. Laserbeak is not a seperate entity from Soundwave. It is merely an extension of him. What Laserbeak does, Soundwave is doing. Laserbeak is a tool, not an individual.

 

This. This LB isnt like movieverse LB who is his own bot, this one is strictly a drone, essentially a remote controlled plane controlled by soundwave. No free will, thoughts, or conscious.
