I was wondering if anyone owned this toy. If so, what are your thoughts on it? I didn't even know this toy existed till this morning! It looks really impressive for a repaint. Looks like it's worth owning for any G2 collector. The one who wrote the review says that this e-hobby exclusive is very appealing, but it is expensive. Here is a link to the pic:

Yeah it does look good for a repaint but I couldn't get into it as I'm not used to Magnus being just an Optimus repaint.

I own it, and think it's great. It's easily my favorite version of the mold. (Unless they finally release Toxitron.... *sniff*) I love how they made the head like his G1 inner robot, but colored the rest of the robot mode to emulate his armored form.

I think I paid $75 plus shipping when it originally came out, and would do so again without hesitation.

How the crap did CZ get one for $20?!

I think it's been a year and some change - I highly recommend it, as well. I love this particular mold.

Yeah, I'll join in with the others saying that it's an excellent repaint of an already superb mold. I paid about $80 for mine when it first came out through BBTS... that's not, say, MP expensive, but it's definently e-hobby prices which some consider expensive (keep in mind you're talking about a fan community that regularly waits for $50, $40 and sometimes $25, $20, $10 and $7 figures to go on clearance before they'll buy).

However, definently one of the better figures out there.

I own it, and I love it. Highly recommended. Sure it's a "white Prime" Magnus, which a lot of people dislike, but with the red accents and the shoulder columns it end up looking a lot more Magnus-y than the other white Prime repaints. The white truck mode looks especially nice. He has the same electronics as Laser Prime, and his lights light up red. It's very cool. If you like this mold, you won't be disappointed with this redeco of it.

The red parts are painted, by the way, not red plastic.

If not for the G2 Autobot symbol and the lack of knee rotation in the legs, I'd say this guy makes a better Classics Magnus than Classics Magnus does.

Yeah, this is who I have on my Classics shelf. "Real" classics Mangus just kind of hangs out in back trying not to feel too neglected. I love this Prime repaint mostly because it is the first one to remember that G1 Magnus had RED paint as well as blue and white.

Laser Prime is to this day my favorite mold. I think I'll break and get this even if it's just a white prime Magnus.

Hell I'll even buy Toxitron if he hits.

Unfortunetly I don't think we will ever see a Toxitron. Would be neat if the fan club did something like that though, but then they would end up charging around $200 for it.

I never liked the mold, but I always that that the Magnus repaint looked pretty good.
