I had an awfull day at work, on the way home I stopped at a random yardsale.. didn't find anything particularly interesting other then a few random nes games (tailspin and goonies 2 for anyone who might care) I was about to leave when I noticed a lone box sitting next to some infant garbage, I happened to notice a familar Purple claw sticking out of the rather larg toilet paper box...

    pictures forthcoming:
(never posted pictures on this forum so humour me if I botch it)

a little closer picture of the better stuff here:

lots of cool stuff, particularly this close to botcon, kinda makes me want to get into collecting micormasters (never really got into them) the scorponox body is in beautiful shape with all pegs intact and nothing broken (just missing most accesories) overall some cool stuff, not alot of accesories but still for the price it was very worth it, but after going through stuff a bit I noticed somethign a bit odd about the scattershot compaired to others I own:

    heres a few pictures:

notice that he's aparnetly put together...BACKWARDS?! could just be a kid taking his toy apart or something, but I also noticed some of the red is a much much lighter colour, he seems ideintcal otherise to normal scattershots..he even combines nice and tight:

(yeah i know random combiner bots too lazy to dig out some real technobots)

anywho I thought it a pretty wierd thing amougst the rest of the stuff..anyone ever see one like him before?

nice haul! I need to start checking out yardsales in the area. There's probably some really neat stuff looking to be found.

All Scramble City combiners were heavily counterfeited. You probably have a high-quality KO.

Can't see the image but I've had a backward one before. Is the red just faded? Is it the Tiawan KO?

It doesn't look faded, as its just his hands and his crotch, is there any particular marking I should for to see if its that particular knockoff in question?

the lady decided that the two larger toys (scorponox and voltron) should be a bit more, but she said 10$ for the box, and 1$ each for the bigger two,

I hesitated a bit...and said alllright that sounds fair ;-)

so yeah, reasonable I guess .

My genuine Scattershot has faded hands and crotch compared to his chestplate and wings, so it doesn't mean that is a knockoff. What it does mean is the previous owner had his eyes closed applying some of those stickers.

$12???? I would've fainted dead away (after forking over the cash, that is.)

I walked off a yard sale this past weekend with a mint condition Nintendo Entertainment System with 2 controllers and 2 games mint with instruction booklets. Over $100 worth for just FIVE dollars. The guy at the video game store lost it when I told him later that day.
