I have just recently begun buying transformers but i have been a huge fan of the G1 cartoon for a long time. I began to look into see if there where any transformers whose alt. mode was a Land Rover, sadly recently there haven't been. After stumbling upon the world of custom bots I decided I want to make one. I have 1:18 scale orange Range Rover Sport that i want to use and i figured i would Re-shell an alternator (which i still have yet to buy), preferably Wheeljack because i think his bot shape looks cool. Of course i know realize this probably won't work seeing as how alternators are 1:24 scale and the Range Rover is 1:18. So I'm lost and I would appreciate suggestions on what i should do and how to get started. Is there a certain alternator that is lager to accommodate the 1:18 scale Rover? Also the Rover is die-cast aluminum is that a bad material to try? I understand my n00b-ness and I apologize.
Here's some photos of the truck if it helps please and thank you!

I don't think it screams "X-brawn", but I do think it fits "Brawn" (G1) nicely :)
