Excuse me if I've never seen this before but I happen to stumble on this little guy while browsing the items listed by the same seller that has the packaged voyager movie starscream.

Supposedly, it is from 2007. A new line perhaps?
The figure seems alot better than the other automobile transformers we've recieved in the Transformers Go-Bots line. It obviously has elements from various Lamborghini sports cars and for a car Go-Bot, his robot mode isn't half bad. It reminds me of Generation 1 Sideswipe and Sunstreaker. And yes, I noticed that his legs and waist are backwards. He is mistransformed but still, he's a pretty cool little dude.

So my question is: Was this guy ever released in the United States? Or is he Japan only? I'm asking since Japan did get some other Go-Bots in different colors.

heh that line was in the liquidation stores around here. The yellow jeep and blue car were my son's first TF's. Now that he's 3 three he won't tolerate anything but real transformers though. Of all his TFs the only one he's broken is that blue gobot.

As much as I'd like to see new Go-bot molds, I'll definitely pick this one up.. especially since its got the Autobot logos.

My kids had the 2002 Speedbot, he's fun to fiddle with.

I have the prowl one. They were nice for starter transformers.
