May I present Metroplex Prime! (9%)

As the title suggests, this one is inspired by L_K's uber cool Metroplex upgrade.. that one is so mega awesome!!!!!

Till now I only did a simple G1 Trailer upgrade for ROTF Voyager Prime..
And my other WIP seemed to be doomed, due to multiple pin-removal :(

So I got a near perfect Metroplex (with as you can see, weird stickering) mixed with a 2007 Leader class Optimus (without smokestacks, ehm)

Then I started building, witness the results! :D

    1. Articulated/Electric Head (Rev.3 Reversed to sink into body + green eyes)
    2. Articulated legs/knees (not full like a ball joint but this is fine for now)
    3. Articulated Arms (Mega posable and extended the easy way :p )
    4. Waist extension (LOLZ that prime cab is now beyond repairs!)
    5. Articulated shoulders (never knew 2007 OP feet could be so handy ;) )
    6. Mega Cannon/Launchers (Rev.3 battery holders + Cannons!)
    7. Electric Helipad guns (Rev.3 Red semi-fast blinking lights)
    8. Sounds (speaker installed) + rewired lots of soldering etc. (Rev.2)
    9. Add folding/sliding Energon Saber + Energon shoulder decoration (Rev.2)
    10. Wing attachment + easy remove system
    11. Removal of stickers (100% Rev.4)
    12. Articulated feet/toes (Rev1. no ball-joint just the easy way!)
    13. Altering/repositioning the wheels for Vehicle mode (Rev.2 80%)
    14. Added Powermaster Enginious??? (Yes why not :D  Rev.1 99%)
    15. Painting blue/red etc. are now white (Rev.5 until I get a new bottle of white)
    16. Gold detailing finished

    FINISHED!!

UPDATE: New pics & Ebay tonight!

I do, I have, and it's a pain in the ass. That long pin is by far the hardest I've had to take out ever. I'm wishing I hadn't because I'm going to have to put it back in, but there's a thread about using a soldering iron for pin removal that is effective. I wish I would have found it before I started. Check the tutorials.

thnx finally an answer :p ... well yeah I though it would be a pain :(

hmm my solder iron is a bit to large I guess, but I can try since damaging isn't that serious problem cuz I only need some pieces and maybe never assemble that fugly prime again ;)

    Update!

Ball-joint shoulder (the other one is gonna be a mega-pain) :p
+ Double cannon (battery holder) = getting a smaller revision tomorrow!

Question does anyone with electric knowledge, knows how long the led-extension cable can be and how many extra led's I could hook up?
(what best serial or parallel connection)

I take it your mk1 is a pre clipper convertible?

And nice! I love rado's, I do love the euro scene, the dutch seem to have a good eye with their cars! I have a slightly modded 2001 Audi S3 which has been murdered out, completely black all round. Mean as hell! Any pics of the rado?

Back onto tf topics... You're making lots of progress mate! Really impressive!
